Calculator selections
The cost planner runs in your browser. It does not request your name, phone number, email, property address or ZIP code. Your selections are not sent to us or to a quote provider. Downloaded plans are generated in your browser and saved to your device.
Quote comparison data
The quote comparison tool and single furnace quote checker process your entered prices, models, terms and notes in this browser. They do not upload quotes, put details in the URL, or send them to analytics. Avoid entering names, addresses, contact information or payment identifiers; a short quote nickname is enough.
Entries start in page memory. Only choosing “Save on this device” creates a local saved draft. Later changes are not saved automatically. Saved data is offered for explicit loading, rather than automatically displayed. Do not save private quote details on a shared device. “Clear saved draft” removes the saved copy; “Start blank” clears the current on-screen entries. Clearing one does not clear the other. Browser storage may be unavailable or removed by the browser; printing and text downloads remain alternatives.
Printed and downloaded files can contain the information you entered. You control where they are saved or shared; clearing browser data does not delete those files. The tool creates no remote account or backup and cannot verify the security or retention of your device.
Checklist storage
The quote checklist can remember the boxes you check using your browser’s local storage on this site. That progress stays on your device; it is not uploaded to a server. Use “Clear checklist” to remove it, or clear the site’s data in your browser. If browser storage is unavailable, the checklist still works during your visit.
Analytics and cookies
This version includes no third-party analytics, advertising pixels or nonessential cookies. Anonymous interaction hooks exist in the code, but they do not transmit anything without an analytics integration. We do not currently collect them into a report. If measurement or advertising tools are added, this notice and any necessary user controls must be updated before collection begins.
Technical delivery
This site is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the United States (Ohio). Delivering pages requires processing technical request information, including your IP address, requested URL and time of access. Operational logs may also contain browser information and are used to maintain and protect the service. This is separate from the quote tools: the prices, models, terms and notes you enter are processed on your device and are not included in requests to our server.

Sources link to other organizations’ websites. Opening one of those links sends a request to the destination, whose privacy practices apply. Fonts and the site’s illustrations are served with the site; they do not require external font or image tracking requests.
Lead collection and referrals
No lead form, phone tracking, contractor matching or affiliate referral is active. We do not collect or sell homeowner contact information in this version. A future integration requires an updated notice and appropriate disclosures and controls.
